I'm excited to welcome the new owners of Maine Island Soap! April 12 2018, 1 Comment

Introducing Christina, Russ and Helene! I have so enjoyed my five years of running this artisan soap company and I am now thrilled to pass the torch to Christina and Russ Fye of Mount Desert Island! They, along with Russ' mother Helene Baker are very excited for the opportunity to build upon the 34 year history of Maine Island Soap!!

Christina is a native of Mount Desert Island and shares my passion for natural living and will continue to use only natural ingredients that are safe and nourishing for your skin. She has many creative ideas for expanding the line to include other bath and body care products. Russ grew up in the hospitality industry in Bar Harbor. He has a business degree from Tiffin University and has been involved with online sales and marketing for more than 10 years. You can look forward to an increase in social media engagement and a redesign of the website! Helene, will give assistance with the book keeping. They all look forward to meeting many of you at the various summer festivals and craft shows as well as our ever famous Stonington Farmer's Market.

During these last five years, I have appreciated your long standing loyalty. I've loved getting to know many of you and hearing how Maine Island Soap has become a tradition in your home and with your gift giving through the years. Your stories have warmed my heart. I will now be focusing full time with my health coaching practice, Bridges For Health, educating families on natural health care and non toxic living.

You can be assured that nothing will change and you'll probably still see me around a bit during the first few months of the transition. I'm very excited for this young couple to bring you their ideas and creativity along with their extensive skills.

Again - I have enjoyed these past five years and I am thrilled that Mount Desert Island will be the new island home for this traditional, artisan soap company!! Be Well, Gisele
